PALM RIVER VILLA Palm River Villas just 30 minutes from the international airport. 20 minutes from the beach and restaurant districts at Legian and Seminyak. Palm River Villas - Bedrooms
All of Palm River's bedroom suites are contained within a modern split-leveled and double-storied wing that is directly adjacent to the main living pavilion. The wing is accessed by another network of waterway steps and teakwood stairs. It consists of 5 well-appointed double bedrooms with lavish en-suite bathrooms and walk-in dressing rooms. The master suite, positioned on the second level, features an enclosing open planned veranda that looks out over the pool and river, while the lower suites are flanked by a series of cascading lotus ponds. Each fully equipped en-suite features a sunken spa-tub set against a clear glass wall that offers tranquil scenes of the water features behind it. All bedrooms have satellite televisions with DVD players, telephones and are fully air-conditioned. Also on the upper level is an air-conditioned entertainment and games room, packed with many mod cons including a wide-screen satellite television and a video projector for watching 'cinema style' DVD movies.
Dining & Relaxing
The lounge and dining area both share the same pavilion and are serviced from the kitchen pavilion where your personal cook will prepare your meals.
Gracious reflection ponds filled with colorful lotus blossoms, fish and lush tropical plants surround these open living areas.
Your cook is trained to prepare a wide variety of cuisine such as Italian, Mexican plus other international delights. Poolside BBQ's are also possible and lots of fun.
The Lounge and dining pavilion overlooks the huge 20 x 8 meter free form swimming pool and expansive gardens so if you have children and choose not employ one of our babysitters you can still relax and keep an eye open at the same time.
There is a poolside "Bale" complete with sun beds and lazy boy chairs (see right side of above photo and middle of photo below) which is an excellent place to sit and read, enjoy a massage or simply relax with a drink. At the far end of the pool is an "island bar" with submerged seats (see photo to the right of this text) this is a great place to discuss the events of the day and to plan for the next.SERVICES & FACILITIES
Entertainment
Entertainment is state of the art with a unique cinema room on the upper level of the main house. This has a projection TV system with surround stereo sound, ample seating for guests and a music player which accepts CD, VCD, DVD or Tape, there is even Satellite TV.
If you need more action then the villa is only a 20 minute drive from the shops, surf and nightlife of the fashionable Seminyak district and Kuta, Legian are only a short drive from there. In the opposite direction there is the world class Greg Norman designed golf course at the Nirwana Meridien G&CC.
The Palm River Villa offers something for everyone and for those wishing to steer clear of the traditional tourist spots of Kuta/Legian we will guide you 1,000 meters south to the ocean where you will discover beautiful "hidden beaches" that remain relatively untouched by tourists. Whilst the beaches on Bali are not particularly safe for recreational swimmers they are great places for walking and you will discover many quaint villages with friendly locals along the way.
For surfers and body boarders alike there is the lure of the world class surf breaks at Uluwatu and Nusa Dua and Kuta. The famous surf break at Canggu beach (below) is only 1km away.
Gardens Palm River has large grassy garden areas for kids to run around and play on. The garden is also big enough to use for an aerobic or CV workout. Included in the villa rental are a team of 17 staff including a gourmet chef (who prepares daily menus of local and international cuisine), kitchen staff, chambermaids, laundress, baby-sitter (extra fee) and security personnel who are there to ensure that your stay at the Palm River Villa is a memorable one.
