Located in the Kerobokan district of Bali, this magnificent hideaway, cradled in lush, landscaped tropical gardens, and surrounded by terraced rice paddies, is totally faithful to Bali tradition
Found roughly one kilometer down an unpaved rural road, the location ensures that isolation and serenity are part and parcel of the villa.
Hosting three bedrooms, Puri Shanti has a classical, rustic charm, flavored in Balinese architecture and contemporary minimalist esthetics…exquisite, cozy, and unique.
To one end of the main room is the first of the three distinct bedrooms, hosting an opium-bed with mosquito net canopy. Like all the bedrooms in the house, it is fully air-conditioned. Also it possesses large louvered wooden doors that provide an easy way to increase air circulation. A few steps away is an ensuite Bali-style bathroom contained in its own bungalow-like structure with four-foot walls, thatched roof, and floored in native hardwood.
From the dining room, and to the other side of the main living and dining area, is a small hallway providing access to the other two bedrooms. To the back is the master bedroom with a king-sized four-poster bed, air-conditioning, large walk-in closet, and its own small terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding landscape. An ensuite bathroom, done in restrained orange and black colors and detailed in mother of pearl, includes hardwood floors, plus a shower and tub that looks out on a small pond. The third bedroom is located on the opposite side, with sliding glass doors providing access to the small garden and lawn located at the front of the property. It includes a queen-sized bed with canopy, and an ensuite bathroom done in a similar style to that of the master bedroom.
