Villa Sumatra is designed from an authentic old Sumatran wood house which has been restored and decorated constituting the amazing master bedroom on the top of the main building. The rest is more modern but include local materials and decoration such as coconut and teak wood, tadalak, terracotta and stones. The tropical garden surrounded on one side by a river comprises a large traditional gazebo, a 14 meter long salt water system swimming pool. This unique villa offers to the guests plenty of different places to enjoy their holidays with large and comfortable common areas as well as smaller other spots to propose more privacy.

This outstanding four bedroom villa is a secret you stumble across, hidden away offering total privacy. Nestled on 1400 square meters, the gardens are landscaped offering a calm and tranquil ambience situated on the ledge above a freeflow river. A 35 m2 traditional gazebo designed and furnished for relaxation, yoga or meditation also looks out to the river.

Upstairs, the master bedrooms are spacious with their own private bathroom en-suites. The bathroom features a double vanity unit made from Javanese marble and a large bath tub. On the other side of the swimming pool there are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and feature stereo, TV, DVD player, mini fridge and safety deposit boxes. These two bedrooms are more modern but offer a combination between local material and the decoration made from coconut and teak wood, terracotta and stone.

Villa Sumatra has a georgous 14 meter salt water swimming pool which is the perfect size for larger groups. The main building features a spacious living area complete with entertainment system, stereo and a big screen television with satellite connection. The dining area seats 8 persons and the kitchen is fully equipped and well designed.
