Bali Villas - Villa Sungai Tinggi

Villa Sungai Tinggi is one of Bali's very few absolute beachfront Villas. Nestled in rice fields and with over 100m of private beach frontage, it has the ultimate sunset panorama with views over to the Jimbaran Bukit headland in the south, across to the Java coastline in the west and the cloudy peaks of Gunung Agung to the north.

Located just beyond the picturesque Balinese village of Pererenan, the villa is only a 20 minute drive to the many popular restaurants and shops of Seminyak and about 45 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. The Nirwana Bali golf course and the famous Tanah Lot Temple are less than 10 minutes away, and the Nusa Dua golf club and Bali Handara golf course are each a 60 minute drive.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The villa has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms, all with deluxe split air-conditioning units as well as overhead ceiling fans. Each bedroom has an individual en suite bathroom, featuring the romantic charm of the al fresco outdoor shower bathing experience. All the bedrooms have ocean views with large glass sliding doors. The cool and clean feel of dark teak timber floors underfoot have been used throughout.

The bedrooms have custom made oversized king beds and built in wardrobes. Although often overlooked in tropical homes, all bedrooms here have good quality curtains. The bedroom interiors have been tastefully furnished with a balance of modern rattan and collected pieces. The master bedroom and study are located on the ground level in one wing, with two further ground level bedrooms and a bedroom upstairs opening onto a casual living area housed in another wing.

Living and Dining
An open Living Room/Dining Room is the center point in the Design. This features a Wantilan roof structure and is built from coconut columns, hardwood framing, stone floor and alang alang roof covering.

There is also an upstairs Living/Pool Room equipped with TV/VCD and pool table. The lush tropical gardens feature an 18metre long swimming pool lined in green stone and created to take full advantage of the sunset. There is also a Tennis Court on the property.

The stunning main 12m x 8m open living and dining pavilion has been designed for relaxation and entertainment and provides optimum enjoyment of the unforgettable ocean, river and sunset views. This living pavilion, with its high natural alang-alang grass ceiling, tall supporting coconut columns and cool cream terrazzo paved floors is ideal for Bali's casual tropical island climate. Overhead ceiling fans and gentle sea breezes keep everyone cool and the ample lounge area seating assures that there is room for everyone to relax. The lounge has a music system with surround sound speakers in the ceiling. The 3 metre handcrafted coconut shell dining table for 12 makes for easy and elegant dining.

A separate air-conditioned indoor study has a television unit complete with VCD and video systems. A second upstairs casual open living area also has a television unit with VCD, Video and PlayStation systems, as well as a pool table for your enjoyment.
