Ombak Luwung's, meaning 'Great Waves' is a blend of Balinese and Modern style. The different rooms surround a stoned patio with a large fountain, accessed from the entrance gate by a flourished pathway.

An expensive grassy garden opening on the beach gives a big breath of freedom to the property, as well as the ponds and tropical trees scattered over the land. Very well designed bedrooms are facing the ocean, as the wide living area and the Jacuzzi, next to a superb dark tiled overflow swimming pool.

The main gates open on a green parking space, and a walkway leads to the center square, connecting the different pavilions together. On the front side, two symmetric bedrooms give directly on the swimming pool with sea view.

LOCATION

Ombak Luwung is located at Jalan Nelayan (Street of the Fisherman) in the Canggu village area. Canggu is located approximately half way between the tourist district of Kuta and the important Balinese temple of Tanah Lot. We are about 45 minutes’ drive from the international airport. Within walking distance you will find the world famous Canggu surf beach (also known as Echo Beach) and the Tugu Hotel, which boasts an amazing collection of Indonesian antiquities on display as well as an excellent restaurant. Half an hour’s drive North, adjacent to the Tanah Lot temple, you will find the Meridien Resort and Nirvana golf course, frequently described as the most beautiful golf course in the world.

Going South towards Kuta and the airport, one comes to Seminyak and Legian with many fine restaurants and shopping opportunities. Our staff will be happy to provide recommendations and directions.

THE VILLA

Once you step your feet in the compound of the villa, you will be captivated by the spaciousness, the stunning architecture and its uniquely-designed garden. You are in a palatial haven.

Villa Ombak Luwung contains five separate guest suites which are designed to accommodate ten (10) guests in total. Two main bedrooms beautifully stand facing each other adjacent to the Lounge. Both suites are beautifully appointed with sumptuous king size beds, luxurious wooden flooring, facing the large main swimming pool and the ocean. The third suite is set apart behind the Lounge and surrounded by pretty garden with falling water and lotus ponds. The last two suite-bedrooms are situated in the two storeys building located on the back of the compound. From this building upstairs guests may enjoy the view of the Indian Ocean clearly.

Each suites offer luxury comforts include mosquito nets, crisp white linen, fluffy towels, colorful pillows, en-suite bathroom (bathtub, shower, hot & cold running water).

SERVICES & FACILITIES

Across the plaza are the kitchen and dining room, set adjacent to the wantilan. The kitchen boasts all modern amenities so the professional chef can cater to your every desire as you relax in the air-conditioned dining room. A circular table that seats up to 10 people rests in the center of the white-tiled room, and hinged glass doors allow for a spacious feel whether or not the doors are open.

Opposite the kitchen is the garden-view bedroom with a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom. This bedroom opens onto a private garden courtyard complete massage bale and outdoor shower. Have the staff arrange a massage for you, and surrender to the surrounding sounds of the falling waterfall as drops reunite with the lotus pond.

The spacious layout of the sea-side estate is ideal for large parties, weddings, and family gatherings as it maintains the privacy of each suite. Those with children can rest comfortably as the estate provides a baby cot with beddings, an Evenflo infant/toddler car seat for weights 5-40 lbs., and babysitters can easily be arranged by the staff.
